***ATTENTION PREVIOUS JO VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS***

We are looking at putting together a Shakopee team to play in the Middle School League at Northern Lights this fall. This is for girls in 7th-8th grade. League play is Saturdays September 17-October 29. This is a competitive league in which we'll play other teams, including Northern Lights teams, on Saturdays prior to our regular JO Season. It is not a part of our JO Season but rather a way to get back on the court and playing some competitive volleyball prior to our JO tryouts in November.
 
We are still working out some of the details (practice time etc) but want to be sure there is enough interest before moving forward. Please review the following and notify us by Friday August 26th if you're interested.
*The cost per girl will be $125.
*Practice will be 1-2 nights per week.
*All games are on Saturdays Sept 17-October 29 (with the option of playing in a tournament Oct 22-23 if there is interest in adding this as well). 
*GREAT opportunity to get back playing competitive volleyball prior to tryout for the Shakopee JO volleyball season. 
*Minimum of 2 years previous JO experience (girls who will play at the 14's level this year). 
 
We are looking at a team of 10. Dependent upon the interest, we will take the first 10 girls who reply back to us. IF there is a  large response, a brief evaluation by the coach will be held the first night of practice to determine which 10 girls will make the team.

Parents of girls ages 10-17, that are interested in playing Junior Olympic League Volleyball MUST ATTEND.  At this meeting we will have information about the upcoming Junior Olympic League that runs from late November thru April.

NCR Jrs Officials Clinic

SUN, DEC 4th
SVA will be hosting a Jr's Officials Clinic for the girls to attend on Sunday, Dec 4th from 10:30-12:00, at the Shakopee Sr High Lecture Room.  If you are unable to attend this Clinic you will need to click on the link below and search for a Clinic in the area that you could attend.  If you can't make the Shakopee Clinic you will also need to contact Cara Lang to make a reservation at the Clinic.  952-831-9150/800-657-6967 ext. 5.  The Clinics last about 90 minutes.  All the girls are required to attend one.

SPIRITWEAR SALE

SPIRITWEAR SALE Tuesday, Jan 24 from 6:30-8:00 at the Jr High Cafeteria. 

This will be the last time to purchase t-shirts, sweatshirts and warmups for the season. 

TEAM PICTURES

Tean pictures have been rescheduled to Jan. 19 in the Middle School Commons. Please see the website calendar for your team's exact time.  It is important to be on time as the photographer is on a tight schedule to fit everyone in that evening. Players should wear uniform top, black shorts/spandex, socks, knee pads and tennis/vb shoes and wear their hair as they would if they were playing.
 
All ordering will be done online. You/your daughter will get the login information that night with the specific instructions. You will have a certain time frame to log in and view the photos and place your order. The photos will all be shipped together and handed out by coaches.  You will be able to choose from individual and team photos. Shortly after this, samples of panoramic photos with fun shots of the players will be available to view in person--most likely after a practice or at a playing time.  These will be ordered separately from the others.
