Fall League/Skills Camps Registration Opens August 1st!

Fall Skills Camp - (Grades 3rd -6th)
This seven-week program will introduce players to the sport of volleyball. Players will work on skills and learn team play. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt.  These camps are open to both girls and boys. Registration opens August 1st, 2021.  This program starts Sept 7th - Oct 21st

Fall League - (Grades 5th-8th)
This six-week program is for girls interested in league play September 7th through October 16th. This is a competitive league in which teams will play on Saturdays or Sundays in the Northern Lights Fall League in Burnsville. This program is not affiliated with the Juniors Volleyball program but provides an opportunity for league play prior to Juniors Volleyball tryouts in November. Registration opens August 1st!

These programs are run by Shakopee Varsity Coach Matt Busch and assistant coaches. All participants receive a camp T-shirt. All grades listed are according to the 2021-2022 school year.

2020/2021 financial assistance

To achieve our goal of allowing more girls the opportunity to play volleyball, the SVA board will continue to have a Financial Aid program. 

For ALL Programs: SVA will reduce fees, if the player is a recipient of a free or reduced school lunch.

As part of the registration process, there will be a checkbox to be marked and a code to be entered if the player has requested financial aid. 

If you are a family that is in need of financial assistance that does NOT qualify for free or reduced school lunch, please email We will discuss with the board and try to accommodate as many families as possible.  ALL requests MUST be made by October 25th, 2020

The Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) is the national governing body for Juniors volleyball programs.  Each month it recognizes JVA clubs achieving more than just national championships and medals. The winning clubs go above and beyond to help grow and develop junior volleyball in their region.
